• This class consists of units mainly engaged in providing technical and vocational education and training. These units offer a large variety of courses covering a range of subjects or specialise in a particular field of education such as computer and business management training.

What 8101 excludes

• Oviding undergraduate or postgraduate teaching are included in Class 8102 Higher Education;
• Oviding sports and physical recreation coaching not predominantly leading to tertiary qualifications are included in Class 8211 Sports and Physical Recreation Instruction; and
• Oviding education in the arts not predominantly leading to tertiary qualifications are included in Class 8212 Arts Education.
