• The principal products are, among others
• (1) Phenol resins, urea resins, melamine resins, alkyd resins, and other thermosetting resins
• (2) Polyethylene, vinyl chloride resins, polystyrene, polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, and other thermoplastic resins (including copolymerizing resins)
• (3) Cellulose-type plastic, and other semi-synthetic resins Establishments principally engaged in manufacturing the above products from petroleum or petroleum by-product gases in an integrated process are classified under Industry 1631.
