• This class comprises establishments principally engaged in cutting, shaping and finishing granite (including diorite and gabbro), liparite (including pumice), andesite, slate, marble, sandstone, tuff, and other stone materials for architectural or other purposes.
• The principal products include memorial stones, tombstones, stone blocks for construction, etc.
• Establishments that trade in semi-finished memorial stones and tombstones, engrave them with inscriptions to order, or otherwise finish them without undertaking other processes are classified under Division I-WHOLESALE AND RETAIL TRADE.
