What 2429 includes

• This class comprises establishments principally engaged in manufacturing various products generally known as hardware that are not classified elsewhere.
• The principal products include cylinder locks, key assemblies, sash rollers and other architectural and joiner's hardware, wiring attachments, metal fittings for automobiles and other transportation vehicles, metal fittings, padlocks, and others for pillboxes, furniture, trunks, suitcases, bags, etc.

What 2429 excludes

• However, establishments principally engaged in manufacturing bolts and nuts are classified under Group 248 [2481], those that manufacture nails, shoe nails, etc., are classified under Group 247 [2471], and those that manufacture edge tools for machinery are classified under Industry 2422.
