• This class comprises establishments that own slipways, docks, or salvage yards as facilities for shipbuilding and repairing, and are principally engaged in building and repairing ships.
• However, this Group does not include establishments principally engaged in manufacturing or repairing hull blocks or ships' parts (deck machinery, anchor chains, propellers, outfitting, etc.) only, or establishments that undertake painting, berthing, fitting, wiring, or other work as subcontractors.
