Description

Economic units primarily engaged in the transfer of electrical energy from the delivery points of the National Transmission Network (RNT), its transmission and voltage conversion via lines, substations, and equipment for transformation, switching, metering, and monitoring, among others, as well as the delivery of electrical energy to load centers connected to these networks. Electrical energy distribution is carried out using equipment operating at nominal voltage levels below 69 kV. This economic activity is performed exclusively by the State through state-owned enterprises (EPEs), their subsidiaries, or through contractors.
